"Spectacular 2-story top floor suite with amazing view: Stayed at the Dancing Bears July 2010 for 3 nights in 'The Summit'. The top floor suite is as spectacular as the pictures on their website, but the pictures don't nearly do justice to the size and open floor plan. The open living/dining/kitchen area is huge, with vaulted ceiling and a direct view of the Alyeska mountain. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, massive double shower. It was a perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of this part of Alaska. The hosts, Matt and Mauri were delightful, and convinced me that I should also try Girdwood in the winter and ski Alyeska! So I'll be back and I am definitely staying at The Summit again. If you go in the summer, be sure to try the paraglide off top of Alyeska - it was a rush!"

| Entertain as a host of a retreat or rent nightly. A private tiled entry greets you, then walk upstairs to a huge open room covered in select grain hickory hardwood with a custom hardwood/tile kitchen. Windows abound and two-story bay windows look up close at Mt. Alyeska. |

| There is a bathroom off the kitchen and a full luxury bath on the third floor with floor to ceiling custom tile and two shower heads. |

| Next to the shower is the large master bedroom with Australian cyprus hardwood, a king bed with frame made of owner's first set of tipi poles. This room features a private balcony with mountain views. Also on the third floor is the rainbow room with a set of bunk beds and a sleeping loft. |

There is also a 16' X 40' south facing covered deck, milled and built by the owner. All milled work was completed with spruce felled within 200' of the house.
